Some of our most productive and interesting conversations have come from open threads where almost anything goes. Speaker's Corner is a topic that is dedicated to open-conversation about almost anything that's on your mind.
The real Speaker's Corner is located in the north-east corner of London's Hyde Park where public speaking is allowed. There is no immunity from the law at speaker's corner, and while the police tend to be tolerant, they do not allow profanity or unlawful behavior. You may be jeered, ridiculed, enthusiastically supported, or completely ignored. Now, what's on your mind?

Hey all, just wanted to make a quick post to prove I'm still here.

Lots of odds and ends are going on in my personal and professional life. Thanks for bearing with me while everything sorts itself out!

Whoohooooooo!  After 3 years and aprox. 20 some inches of snow we have had our first plow come do our court.  He came up the hill did one pass around the outside and left.  Its a start, now I know we are on the City map.  Still doesn't justify the killing they are making on me tax wise, but that's an issue I will battle in June.

Any truth to the rumor Alexander, the water guy, is getting a $13,000 raise this year along with $7,500 to a Foreman and $6,000 to the secretary?  Just curious, it came from a City employee, but I know how things get changed as stories are told.
