Some of our most productive and interesting conversations have come from open threads where almost anything goes. Speaker's Corner is a topic that is dedicated to open-conversation about almost anything that's on your mind.
The real Speaker's Corner is located in the north-east corner of London's Hyde Park where public speaking is allowed. There is no immunity from the law at speaker's corner, and while the police tend to be tolerant, they do not allow profanity or unlawful behavior. You may be jeered, ridiculed, enthusiastically supported, or completely ignored. Now, what's on your mind?

Surely I'm still in vacation mode.

I just downloaded and watched a 60's movie called “The Quiller Memroandum”. It's a completely lame reaon to watch the movie, but the theme song is one of the tunes I grew up with (my parentt's had an old LP with it) – I happened across it on iTunes and decided to watch the film on a lark.
Here's my report:

“The Quiller Memorandum” is a mid 1960's spy movie that's absolutely excellent! Not only was it suspenseful, but I'm still contemplating the plot!!!!

I've become a bit of a production geek – and wow! Locations, wirting, acting, shooting style, production quality..Incredible! There is true nuacnce in both the writing and the acting...and the delivery is...well...wow!!!

In my humble opinion, even the really nerdy production stuff like depth-of-field and lighting have gone backwards in the last 50 years...wow!

..I'm going to stay up way too late tonight and watch it again....Time for popcorn!

My apologies to all who have to put up with me at work tomorrow (later today!);-)
